Exactly one year ago the company Knight Frank, together with its clients, took part in a charitable contribution and transferred funds just before New Year’s to the regional public organization Center for Humanitarian Programs, which provides assistance to sick children and invalids. These funds went toward operations for children suffering from congenital heart disorders, and at the end of this year we are very pleased to report that now the hearts of eight children – Pavel Vaskin (4 years old), Valeria
Vashurkina (7 years old), Anastasia Kanteeva (2 years old), Darya Poletaeva (11 years old), Ivan Prikazchikov (4 years old), Vadim Tyuryushkin (5 years old), German Panchenko (14 years old), Ramil Yunusov (15 years old) – beat steadily. During 2008 these children were treated at the Bakoulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery at the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
Kirill Starodubtsev, Chairman, Knight Frank Russia and CIS
“It is a great joy for us to see the happy faces of the children who now feel good, and the smiles of their parents, who can simply rejoice in the steady, regular heartbeats of their children. What could be more important than this? For us, this is not just a question of the company’s social responsibility to society; this is a normal human concern about the fates of those who are less fortunate. Every person would prefer to help save the life of a child, rather than simply receive a traditional holiday gift. We are grateful to our clients for understanding and supporting our initiative, and we thank everyone for their joint participation in an important social campaign. Today we have the opportunity to share our joy and the chance to see the happy faces of the children for whom life in this world became much easier this year.
We wish everyone good health in the New Year!”
